7 Days / 6 Nights – Similan & Surin Islands Expedition

Wake up surrounded by crystal-clear water and reef below.

• Morning snorkeling and a short walk to a viewpoint
• Relax on board or on the beach

In the late afternoon:

• Short sail to Donald Duck Bay, famous for its granite boulders
• Climb the easy viewpoint for a fantastic sunset panorama
• Night at anchor in the bay

We leave in the morning for Koh Tachai.

• Arrive at what many call one of Thailand’s best beaches – long, white and often quiet
• Spend the day swimming, snorkeling and walking along the shore

Because the beaches face northeast, we continue later in the afternoon to find a calmer anchorage for the night nearby.

Early departure with breakfast on board to the Surin Islands (≈27 NM).

• The Surins are famous for hard coral gardens and rich fish life
• Spend the day snorkeling multiple sites, visiting beaches and relaxing

From the night anchorage you can often see the outline of Myanmar on the horizon.

We continue exploring the Surin Islands.

• Visit several different snorkel spots and beaches
• Lunch while sailing between anchorages

Later in the day we set course back to Koh Tachai for a secure night anchorage before the longer passage south.

Morning time to enjoy more of Koh Tachai’s beach or snorkel sites.

• After breakfast we sail back towards the Similans
• Arrive at Similan Island No. 6 before sunset

Here you can:

• Swim in clear, turquoise water
• Watch another spectacular sunset from one of Thailand’s most beautiful anchorages

Enjoy a final morning swim or snorkel in the Similans.

• After breakfast we start the 72 NM passage back to Phuket
• Relax on deck, watch for sea life and soak up the last hours at sea

We arrive back in Phuket in the late afternoon or early evening, completing this offshore adventure.
