Tranquil and untouched
The Surin Islands lie further north than the Similans, close to the border with Myanmar. Their remote location means fewer crowds, quieter bays and a very natural feel both above and below the water.
Coral gardens flourish in the sheltered shallows, and local sea gypsy communities (Moken people) still maintain a traditional maritime lifestyle, giving the islands a unique cultural flavour.

What you can experience
- Snorkeling and diving on colourful, healthy reefs
- Quiet nights at anchor under incredibly clear starry skies
- Visits to Moken sea gypsy villages when permitted
- Drift snorkels along reef edges with abundant marine life
Because of the distance from Phuket, Surin Islands are usually included on extended, expedition-style charters that combine them with the Similan Islands or northern Andaman routes.
